How Do FLO Vitamins Work?
Some of the ingredients in this formula contain plant-based estrogens and can also increase levels of progesterone. This improves the hormonal balance in a woman’s body and can decrease symptoms like mood swings and irritability.
FLO PMS Gummy Vitamins also have anti-inflammatory agents, which can reduced swelling in the body to decrease symptoms like bloating. It could also have an impact on lessening the pain associated with cramps. A study in the Journal of Women’s Health found a link between inflammation and premenstrual symptoms [1].
This product is high in antioxidants, which may kill free radicals and decrease oxidative stress. This can promote healing in the body and strengthen the immune system. A study in the Archives of Gynecology and Obstetrics concluded that PMS may lead to increased oxidative stress [2].
What Are the Ingredients in FLO Vitamins?
These are the primary active FLO Vitamins ingredients:
Chaste Berry – This ingredient contains phytoestrogens, plant-based estrogens which can balance out levels in the body and as a consequence decrease PMS symptoms. It may also raise levels of progesterone. A systematic review in European Psychiatry found that chaste berry had some effect on PMS symptoms, although not all the studies were rigorous enough [3].
Vitamin B6 – This vitamins can help ease certain PMS symptoms. It stimulates key neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin, which can boost mood and eliminate irritability.
It may also raise levels of other chemical messengers that are lacking during PMS. A study in the British Medical Journal found that doses of vitamin B-6 up to 100 mg/day may alleviate PMS symptoms and PMS depression [4].
Dong Quai – This plant may raise levels of estrogen in the body, but the evidence varies. However, there are reports that it is effective at treating both PMS and menopause symptoms. A study in Fertility and Sterility on postmenopausal women concluded that dong quai did not really increase estrogen levels or decrease menopause symptoms [5].
Lemon Balm – This is an herb in the same family as mint and basil but has nothing to do with actual lemons. This ingredient has mild sedative properties and may help reduce the stress and anxiety that could accompany PMS.

FLO Vitamins Reviews - 0/10 would not recommend
I had really high hopes from FLO Vitamins but it made my hormonal acne worse. I even broke out in places I don’t typically do such as my forehead and cheeks. I finished the bottle of FLO gummies and it took 2 weeks for it to finally start clearing up. I didn’t even want to leave the house. My face has never looked so bad. I would not recommend Flo Vitamins and gummies to anyone. It’s the worst.
