Portia Lacee Koerner is an RN with a master’s degree in nursing education. She currently works quality assurance with a vast background in acute and critical care nursing.

Experience

Portia has thirteen years of nursing experience. She has worked in several clinical settings including acute care inpatient, emergency nursing, drug and alcohol rehab, pediatric home health, hospice case management and hospice leadership. She also has experience in teaching as a unit educator and as a clinical instructor for nursing students. Portia has experience writing for various patient and nurse education topics and has published several articles including an award-winning nursing article during her career.
