Jay Armour, a seasoned Online Personal Trainer and Nutrition Expert from London, England, holds a BSc in Sports & Exercise Science in 2008 and a BSc in Human Nutrition in 2012. His journey into fitness and nutrition began at an early age, as he started balancing macros at age 13 to enhance his performance in the sports he played. This early fascination with optimising performance laid the groundwork for his future career.
In his early twenties, Jay became a certified personal trainer, driven by a passion for helping others unlock their full potential. However, it was his personal experiences with overcoming eating disorders prevalent among athletes that ignited his interest in nutrition. Witnessing the struggles of his peers during his time competing, Jay resolved to look deeper into the science of human nutrition to provide effective support to athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike.
Jay manages an online fitness and nutrition coaching program, guiding diverse clientele towards achieving their health and wellness goals. His extensive experience includes a fitness coaching internship with the Bristol Rugby team, head CPT at BBC London Media & Film Studios, and as a Specialist Coach at Equinox London health clubs, during this time he also worked with many prominent brands and UK TV shows. Furthermore, Jay is a personal coach to a host of A-list clientele, utilising his expertise to provide customised training and nutrition plans tailored to their needs and goals.
Excitedly embracing new challenges, Jay is stepping into the role of a medical reviewer for health blogs, expanding his influence in the health and wellness arena.
