Experience

Dawn Stacey is a public speaker, spokesperson, and contributor for major websites. She has more than 15 years of counseling experience on mental illness and sexual health issues, such as resolving guilt over birth control used to make informed reproductive choices.

Dawn has helped individuals, couples, and families with mental health issues, relationship issues, sexual practices, family planning, and crisis management. She also teaches psychology in college. She believes in educating and raising awareness related to mental and sexual health issues. She has promoted sexual health and contraception via speaking events, spokesperson roles, and media interviews. Her work has been cited in several textbooks, and also has been interviewed about contraception and healthy sex choices for radio, web, and television.

Education

She is a licensed mental health counselor and completed her Ph.D. in psychology from Capella University. At the University of Florida in Gainesville, Dawn completed her Specialist in Education and Master of Education in mental health counseling as well her Bachelor of Science in psychology.
