Overview of Bloom Nutrition

Bloom Nutrition has a variety of health, gym, and pre-workout blends. Their products promise women athletes and those on a fitness plan to experience more enjoyable exercise, easier recovery, and a healthier lifestyle. Founded in 2018 by Mari Llewellyn, a fitness influencer and Youtuber, this brand has a somehow refined website promoting pricy products.

Although they have an acceptable marketing strategy, their products do not seem as high-end as they advertise. You can order all sorts of items, including pre-workout powder, fitness and health supplements, multivitamins, collagen and fish oil, and even accessories such as tank tops and blender bottles. Their Bloom Nutrition Greens, a mixture of more than 30 herbs, & superfoods, claims to improve your digestion and immunity. Their products can be “Lifestyle & Wellness,” which is not just for sports professionals. Or, they could have a “Gym & Fitness” vibe, more fitted for women with fitness goals.

The official website categorized products they sell into four sections: gym supplements, wellness, vitamins & gym accessories. On the bottom of the site, there are the names of famous online platforms that featured Bloom Supplements greens, such as Forbes, Access Hollywood, Women’s Health, Popsugar, Daily Mail, Good Morning America, & Total Beauty.

This Bloom Supplements review informs you more about the new trendy brand, its highlights, most common ingredients, and pros & cons, and gives a broader perspective on where these products stand.

Bloom Nutrition Ingredients

You can find the complete list of ingredients for each Bloom supplement on the official website and at the back of the bottle. Let’s review some of the primary active ingredients and the scientific understanding behind them:

Flaxseed Powder

Flaxseed powder made of flax (Linum usitatissimum) plant is full of omega-3 fatty acids, & alpha-linolenic acid and is an excellent good source of dietary fiber.[1] Cultivated as food and fiber crops, flaxseeds have various health benefits. The seed coat is rich in fiber, and A study in the Food Science Technology journal found that flaxseed has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant aspects and helps with hormonal adjustment and bowel movements.[2]

Collagen Peptides

After two decades of research, scientists can confirm that collagen peptides‘ inclusion in the diet enhances wellness [3]. Collagen can improve the hydration, density, and elasticity of the skin significantly, and the effects of collagen peptide supplementation (COL) have also been a frequent subject for several studies.[4] It has been clarified that for collagen peptide effectiveness, the body has to engage in energetic exercise. More investigation is required to know the exact mechanism.

Barley Grass

Barley grass, aka the barley plant leaves, is rich in active substances like GABA, flavonoids, antioxidants, vitamins (A, B1, C, and E), SOD, K, Ca, Se, alkaloids, dietary fiber, etc. Studies, like that of Yawen Zeng and his colleagues in 2018, have demonstrated the therapeutic features of this herb, especially against cancers and skin toughness.

This medicinal botanic has been used by ancient civilizations for centuries and has been a frequent ingredient in modern medicine for some time now [5].

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is an anti-aging agent that keeps the skin youthful and brilliant. This potent molecule is vital for several biological mechanisms, such as tissue regeneration, skin restoration, immunity, and wound healing. HA is a substance naturally found in the eyes and joints fluids because it acts as a liquid cushion that can retain water and sustain moisture.[6]

Spirulina Powder

Derived from blue-green algae, Spirulina is a food and medicinal supplement with various positive effects on the body. This substance can help lose weight and mitigate fatigue, stress, anxiety, and depression. It also strengthens your system against diabetes, hypertension, allergic rhinitis, and more.

Beetroot

Beetroot is packed with fiber, vitamin C, B9, potassium, manganese, and iron and is a new gym trend among athletes these days [7]. clinical studies, such as Parvin Mirmiran’s one in 2020, showed how beetroot supplementation could successfully balance blood pressure and vascular and endothelial responses and heal platelet aggregation. You can find this dietary supplement in various gym and fitness programs.

Are Bloom Supplements Safe?

Bloom supplements claim to use high-end ingredients and premium raw materials. Not to mention it offers natural, GOM-free products, some of which are gluten-free with zero added sugar, that contains vitamins, superfoods, probiotics, medicinal herbs, etc.

Although their official websites lack scientific data about their items, they seem legit and safe. Some side effects have been reported, like stomach issues and bloating, but nothing serious. Either way, consider consulting a healthcare advisor before starting any supplements, and always have an understanding of their ingredients, such as caffeine, that you might be allergic to.

What Do the Bloom Supplements Reviews Say?

Like similar supplement brands, the official website offers testimonials and comments under products. Their customer reviews are entirely positive, which raises the suspicion that they might be biased. They call Bloom supplements “absolutely amazing,” “Great,” and “phenomenal” with “wonderful taste .” The website may have only focused on positive results because other Bloom Supplements reviews are not as optimistic.

n online reviewers, you see people call their so-called fruity blends “disgusting,” with sickening flavors” that have a “funky taste” to them. Some complained about high prices, and others suffered side effects like bloating and digestive issues.

Lana McCarthy, MS, RD, LD, is one of the dietitians who reviewed this supplement and shares her experience via the video below.

Bloom Supplements Reviews – Conclusion

In this detailed Bloom Supplements review, we rendered information on a supplement company dedicated to women’s fitness. Bloom Nutrition is a brand with several wellness products, vitamins, pre-workout, gym recovery, etc., that can pique sports practitioners’ interest.

They promise a boost in physical performance, fitness abilities, and weight management, mainly in the shape of powder or capsules with different flavors. However, their website lacks a scientific background, their formulas are not very complex, and their prices are higher than some similar alternatives like Olly Vitamins and Rae Wellness.

You can’t find any certificates, free trials, or third-party testing, just a story about a fitness influencer and how she was inspired to become lean using what has now been the foundation of Bloom products.

In summary, there are more affordable options like Glaxon and MaryRuth Organics in the market with better scientific backing, refund policies that you can actually rely on, and less unsatisfactory feedback.

    Bloom Supplements contain caffeine

Bloom Nutrition is a brand that focuses on meeting the needs of women in the areas of nutrition and weight loss. Their website is pretty impressive, as it offers a lot of well-explained information, which is always great. However, many of their products contain caffeine, and they are not recommended for pregnant or nursing women. Some of their products have also caused bloating issues, which is something you should be aware of if you are thinking of buying anything from their range.
