How Does It Work? | The Science Behind Alpha King
The Journal of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics indicates the ingredients fenugreek extract and Tribulus Terrestris may have a positive impact on testosterone levels and libido.
The manufacturer claims the secret to their product is AlphaFen which has a high concentration of sapogenins, which may block the enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogen.
Alpha King Ingredients – The Breakdown
There are several primary active ingredients in this testosterone supplement:
AlphaFen Fenugreek Seed Liposomal Extract (std. to sapogenins) – A patented version of fenugreek seed extract. Manufacturers claim it increases testosterone production. This herb has been known to treat constipation, inflammation, and stomach issues
Tribulus Terrestris (fruit) – This fruit, also called puncture vine or Devil’s weed may boost muscle strength, treat impotence, improve physical performance and elevate libido. The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research found the effects are insignificant. According to Pharmacognosy Review, this plant has been used in Ayurvedic medicine and it contains saponins, which may benefit muscle tissue.
Black Maca Root Extract – According to Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Maca is a plant grown in Peru that boosts fertility, libido and stamina.
DIM (diindolylmethane) – According to The Journal of Nutrition, diindolylmethane balances hormone levels of estrogen and testosterone. Cruciferous vegetables contain indole-3-carbinol, which is converted into DIM in our bodies.
Other ingredients include: Gelatin, Dicalcium Phosphate, Magnesium Stearate, Silica, Titanium Dioxide, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Yellow #6.

Did not help at all. Made things worse, actually!
Did not help at all. Made things worse, actually. Couldn’t even finish the bottle. Things returned to normal after stopping use. I stopped taking this supplement and symptoms got better, restarted taking it and symptoms got immediately worse.
It is awful made me sick.
I did get in a pretty good workout but I had to fight through the smell and taste that lingered through my workout which I ended at about 45 minutes. I am reviewing this after only one serving because I may not use it again. I can say and I have tried many pre-workouts but I think I have decided to stay with what works for me no more looking for something else!
Not the best I've used there are many cheaper products that may provide the same benefits and better results!
I have been taking this product for more than 2 weeks, haven’t seen notice any changes, or feel a thing other than a little increase in sexual desires. It’s not worth the money did absolutely nothing for me way overpriced for what it delivers and without any solid medical research and evidence that it works to increase testosterone! For me, it was just all hype. Save your money. I would not recommend this product to anyone or I’m just hesitant to suggest anyone invest in this stuff. There are many cheaper products that may provide the same benefits and better results!
